New 3G surface for The Royal High School

Ecosse Sports have successfully completed the refurbishment of a existing full size sand-dressed synthetic pitch to a new, 3G artificial surface at The Royal High School in Edinburgh. The work was undertaken for a private facilities management company who look after the schools on behalf of the local council. As well as the new surface, a brand new fence system was installed, replacing the existing one which was badly damaged. Working under an extremely tight deadline to have the facility ready for the start of the new school term, Ecosse managed to have the both the surface and fencing completed within a 3 week period. TigerTurf ‘40XQ’ 3G synthetic turf was installed which passes both FIFA 1* and FIH accreditation and therefore is a popular surface within the education market.
