New MUGA for Woodlands School

Thanks to some generous support from the ‘The Big Lottery Fund’, Woodlands School in Edinburgh is benefiting from a brand new MUGA area, constructed by Ecosse Sports. After a competitive tender process, Ecosse were chosen as the preferred contractor to build a 24m x 16m MUGA with rebound panel fencing complete with one set of recessed goals and basketball hoops. The finished surface is a sand-filled synthetic turf with various painted lines to cater for an array of sporting activities within the school. This is a fantastic new facility for this specialist school whose children will benefit enormously from the opportunity to learn and play a multitude of sporting activities. Luke McGeechan, Sales Director for Ecosse Sports said, “We were particularly pleased to play a major part in this project and make a significant contribution to what will be a tremendous asset for this school and its pupils. A number of people connected to the school worked extremely hard to secure the funding required to make the schools ambition of having their own MUGA a reality. We are delighted with the feedback we have been given in relation to the finished MUGA which has been extremely positive and now the school can look forward to using this well-deserved facility.”
