Schools across West Lothian benefit from MUGA Installation

October 2013 saw the completion of seven month project which saw the construction six MUGA’s across various primary and special schools for West Lothian Council. Each area measured 24m x 15m with a porous macadam playing surface, finished with acrylic paint coating and markings. The ‘ballcourt’ style fence system comprised of recessed football goals and basketball board/hoops, with 1.2m high sides and 3m high goal ends in powder coated steel construction. Each new MUGA provides a safe environment for children to take part in a number of small-sides activities including football, basketball, tennis, netball and street hockey.
