Testimonials

This is what clients have to about our completed projects:

George Watson’s College

“George Watson’s College has a proud history of sporting excellence and therefore when we decided to replace our main full size synthetic turf pitch in July 2013, it was imperative that not only a reputable contractor was chosen but that the new surface met our high expectations. Performance, longevity and appearance were three of the key factors in choosing our new surface and after careful review it was agreed that we would install TigerTurf’s ‘Evo PRO’ sand-dressed carpet in two-tone blue/green combination. Taking into consideration their experience and past work, along with the fact that they are one of TigerTurf’s Premier Partners, Ecosse Sports more than justified our decision to appoint them as the contractor for this project. Their approach is honest and pro-active but more importantly, they took the time to explain each stage of the process, ensuring that our expectations were managed and met in a professional manner. Above all, Ecosse Sports are a company that you can trust. We relied on them to execute and deliver this project on time, on budget and to a very high standard that the College demands from its contractors and I can say with satisfaction that this was achieved.”"""

Scottish Rugby Union

“Scottish Rugby have successfully worked with Ecosse Sports / Replay Maintenance for a number of years and they were a natural choice when we had a requirement to install a synthetic turf area to the west side of Murrayfield’s international pitch. We decided on a TigerTurf, ‘TotalTurf 65XQ’ synthetic carpet, the quality of which, along with Ecosse’s professionalism and attention to detail, has resulted in a completed project to a very high standard, that we are extremely happy with."

Scottish Rugby Union

Their employees are courteous and are always willing to go the extra mile. Their business approach is refreshing, honest and reliable. Working with Ecosse Sports is an easy partnership because they believe in excellent customer service whilst delivering first class sporting facilities. Thank you for the superb job you completed for us.”

Clarkston Bowling and Tennis Club

“Clarkston Bowling and Tennis Club has a proud tradition of encouraging and promoting tennis play amongst all levels and ages. It was decided in 2012 that the existing 3 court blaes area would be refurbished to align with the clubs ethos of progressing participation amongst members, especially at junior level. Much hard work was carried out to apply for LTA and Sport Scotland funding and, after a lengthy tender process, Ecosse Sports Ltd were chosen as the preferred contractor for the project. The scope of works included stripping out the existing blaes material, new PCC perimeter kerbs, new drainage (which was a key phase of the project and therefore imperative that we choose a contractor with particular expertise in this area), new stone sub-base and two layers of open textured macadam which was painted using a textured acrylic paint in US Open two-tone blue/green combination along with markings for red/orange mini-tennis. The project also included the installation of new fencing and new floodlighting. From start of the tender process to the handover of the courts, Ecosse were honest, meticulous in their approach, but most importantly highly skilled and knowledgeable in all elements of the works. This gave us tremendous confidence and comfort that the project would be executed to a supremely high standard - which is what we got. With Ecosse Sports, you have a contractor who communicates with you constantly to keep you involved at every stage in the process and who are only too willing to go the ‘extra mile’. As a company they quite clearly take an enormous amount pride in their work which is a very refreshing and welcomed approach in the industry. Feedback on the courts since handover has been outstanding, with increased play on the courts (especially at junior level) and increased membership enquiries since the official opening. We now look forward to coaching and working with the next generation of Scottish tennis stars on our fantastic new courts.”

George Heriot’s School

“In the summer of 2013, the school decided it was time to refurbish the main synthetic turf pitch after nearly 17 years with the existing sand-filled surface. As well as replacing the carpet, it was decided that the insitu shockpad would be replaced like-for-like along with remedial works to the perimeter fencing and kickboards. After a lengthy tender process, Ecosse Sports were chosen as the successful contractor for the job, installing TigerTurf’s FIH compliant ‘Evo PRO’ sand-dressed synthetic turf carpet. Each member from the Ecosse team, management and operatives, were a pleasure to deal with throughout the contract. They made the entire project experience hassle free because of their ability to work efficiently and professionally without compromising on the integrity of contract. Ecosse listened to our needs from day one and showed a genuine desire to understand these needs and act on them in a timely and appropriate fashion. I can’t recommend Ecosse Sports highly enough for this type of work – their years of experience in the synthetic turf industry shone through on this project. We could not be happier with the end result."

Inverness Tennis and Squash Club

“Before the project ITSC found ESL to be adaptable and obliging in the pre-contract tendering, negotiations and work-scope definition. During the execution of the work, they fulfilled all their commitments in an efficient and timely manner, with good on-site communication, prompt attention to the Club’s priorities and sensitivity to the impact on neighbouring properties. Minor contract variations were agreed constructively and post-project ‘snagging’ without difficulty. A minor completion over-run was due to factors beyond their control (the weather). The work was undertaken to the complete satisfaction of ITSC. The finished tennis courts are a delight to play on, which will meet the club’s requirements for the foreseeable future. ITSC’s objectives have been very amply fulfilled by ESL, who we have found to be highly efficient, flexible and dependable in all their dealings. We have no hesitation in recommending their services.”

Dumfries and Galloway Council

“In 2011, Ecosse Sports Ltd was chosen as preferred contractor for an extensive project involving the full refurbishment of 2 polymeric athletics tracks in the Dumfries and Galloway area. Their approach to the entire project from start date to formal handover of both facilities was highly professional, incorporating safe and efficient site management and a committed and reliable contractor/client relationship. We were extremely happy with the end product and would have no hesitation in utilising Ecosse Sports for their services in future.”

Glasgow Life

“Ecosse Sports Ltd was the perfect fit for Glasgow Life. They were both affordable and efficient and have in the short time they have been proving the synthetic surface maintenance contract, have demonstrated excellent customer service and a determination to ensure that this strategic partnership is a success. I have been very impressed with their project planning and flexible working approach, which has only reinforced Glasgow Life's decision to appoint them. To date they have been a great company to work with.”

FES Facilities Management

“Ecosse Sports were commissioned to carry out the replacement surface of the synthetic pitches at North Berwick High School and Preston Lodge High School in summer 2014. Both existing surfaces were dilapidated and a risk to the people using them. From the early stages of discussing our requirements with Ecosse, they made the journey of refurbishing each facility straightforward and hassle free. We had complete faith that they would deliver two fantastic new surfaces whilst committing to our strict project timescale and health and safety requirements at each school. They did not disappoint. Ecosse maintained a professional and helpful approach throughout the contract period and fully justified our decision to appoint them as our main contractor."

Blackhall Lawn Tennis Club

“We went through a very thorough process of selecting a contractor to resurface the tennis courts at Blackhall LTC. We had made the decision to install Tiger Turf ‘Baseline’ artificial clay surface as we felt that this surface would offer the club a fantastic new option and would suit all types of player. Ecosse sports were selected as we felt comfortable with their approach, which was open and honest. We were not let down on our assessment of Ecosse Sports; the guys were excellent, the courts were laid on time and they were very attentive to all the club’s needs. We are one of the first clubs in Scotland to lay this surface and it has been a fantastic boost to the club which has enjoyed a growth in membership for the first time in 7 years. Maintenance has been fun and everyone has joined in with drag brushing the courts; there is a great sense of pride amongst the members in our new courts. We have had clubs from all over Scotland visit us to look at the surface and every team that came to play us last year commented on our new courts and they were all very favourable. Everyone loves them! We look forward to maintaining our relationship with Ecosse Sports in the years ahead.”
